RECAP | WEDC AND SCSA ESTABLISH A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO INTRODUCE THE WESTERN AUSTRALIA CURRICULUM IN VIETNAM
As part of its official working visit to Western Australia, the WEDC delegation held a strategic meeting with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) — the statutory authority under the Western Australian Department of Education responsible for overseeing the public school curriculum from Early Childhood Education (Kindergarten) through Year 12 and University Pathway Programs.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to develop and implement Western Australia's curriculum in Vietnam, creating new pathways for international education and academic collaboration.

During the meeting, WEDC presented its experience and capabilities in delivering international and bilingual education programs across Vietnam, while also sharing its successful partnerships with educational institutions nationwide.

Key Areas of Collaboration

Both parties reached a mutual understanding to pursue cooperation across several strategic areas, including:

  • Transfer and implementation of the Western Australia Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary and High School cirriculum, integrating Western Australian learning outcomes into Vietnam education system.

  • Development of academic programs for Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School, and University Foundation, together with curriculum resources, assessment frameworks, and teacher professional development aligned with Western Australian education standards.

Expanding International Education Opportunities in Vietnam

The meeting represents an important milestone in the partnership between WEDC and SCSA, laying the foundation for bringing the Western Australia public education curriculum closer to Vietnamese students.

This collaboration is expected to enhance educational quality, broaden access to internationally recognized learning pathways, and create more opportunities for Vietnamese students to experience a world-class education without leaving the country.

WEDC remains committed to working closely with leading international education partners to develop high-quality academic programs that contribute to the long-term growth of Vietnam's education sector.

Partner with WEDC

Educational institutions, school systems, and organizations across Vietnam interested in implementing the Western Australia Curriculum are invited to connect with WEDC. Together, we aim to deliver internationally recognized education pathways for learners from Early Childhood Education through University Preparation.
